Modern Slavery Policy
Purpose
Teamgo Pty Ltd (“Teamgo”) is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and in compliance with applicable laws. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, servitude, and other slavery-like practices.
This policy outlines Teamgo’s commitment to identifying, preventing, and addressing modern slavery risks within our business operations and supply chains.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- All Teamgo directors, employees, contractors, consultants, and temporary workers.
- Suppliers, service providers, business partners, and other organisations engaged by Teamgo.
Legislative Framework
Teamgo supports the objectives of the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and other applicable legislation relating to human rights, labour standards, and ethical business practices.
While Teamgo may not be required to submit an annual Modern Slavery Statement under the Act, we voluntarily adopt practices that support the identification and mitigation of modern slavery risks throughout our operations and supply chains.
Our Commitment
Teamgo is committed to:
- Operating our business ethically, lawfully, and with integrity.
- Respecting internationally recognised human rights.
- Maintaining fair employment practices and complying with applicable workplace laws.
- Promoting diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
- Working with suppliers and partners that comply with applicable labour laws, human rights obligations, and modern slavery legislation, and that share our commitment to ethical business conduct.
- Taking reasonable steps to identify and address modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chain.
- Ensuring all employment and recruitment practices are conducted lawfully, ethically, and without the use of forced, bonded, or child labour.
Our Operations and Supply Chain
As a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, Teamgo’s supply chain is relatively simple and generally considered lower risk than manufacturing, agriculture, or resource industries.
Our supply chain may include:
- Cloud hosting and technology infrastructure providers.
- Software and IT service providers.
- Professional services, including legal, accounting, and consulting services.
- Telecommunications and internet services.
- Office supplies and business services.
- Recruitment, training, and employment-related services.
- Travel and accommodation providers.
- Hardware suppliers and equipment vendors.
Teamgo recognises that modern slavery risks may still exist within domestic and international supply chains and remains committed to monitoring these risks where reasonably practicable.
Risk Management and Due Diligence
Teamgo may undertake the following activities to identify and manage modern slavery risks:
- Assess potential modern slavery risks within business operations and supply chains.
- Consider geographic, industry, and supplier-specific risk factors.
- Conduct reasonable supplier due diligence where appropriate.
- Review supplier practices, policies, and publicly available information.
- Incorporate ethical conduct and compliance expectations into supplier agreements where appropriate.
- Monitor and review supplier relationships where concerns are identified.
- Take appropriate action where actual or suspected modern slavery risks are identified.
- Where significant modern slavery risks are identified and cannot be adequately addressed, Teamgo may reconsider, suspend, or terminate the supplier relationship where appropriate.
Teamgo expects suppliers operating in higher-risk industries or jurisdictions to maintain appropriate policies and controls to identify and address modern slavery risks within their own operations and supply chains.
Responsibilities
The Directors of Teamgo are responsible for overseeing compliance with this policy.
Management is responsible for:
- Promoting awareness of modern slavery risks.
- Supporting due diligence activities.
- Reviewing supplier relationships where concerns arise.
- Ensuring appropriate action is taken in response to identified risks.
All Teamgo personnel are expected to:
- Comply with this policy.
- Report any concerns regarding unethical conduct or suspected modern slavery.
- Participate in relevant awareness or training activities where required.
Reporting Concerns
Employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners are encouraged to report any concerns regarding suspected modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour, or other unethical practices involving Teamgo or its supply chain.
Reports may be made confidentially to Teamgo management or a Company Director. Teamgo will investigate reports in a fair and appropriate manner and will not tolerate retaliation against individuals who raise concerns in good faith. Teamgo will review concerns appropriately and take reasonable action where required.
Monitoring and Review
Teamgo will periodically review this policy and its associated procedures to ensure they remain effective and aligned with legal requirements, industry expectations, and business operations.
This policy will be reviewed at least annually or more frequently where legislative or operational changes occur.
