Frequently Asked Questions

Getting to know your new visitor software.

What is Teamgo?

Teamgo is cloud-based visitor management software that helps organisations safely and efficiently manage visitors, staff, and contractors. Using iPad kiosks, QR codes, and mobile check-in tools, Teamgo improves compliance, safety visibility, and workplace sign-in workflows across single or multi-site environments.

Where can I use Teamgo?

Teamgo works in any location where you need to monitor people entering your site—offices, warehouses, schools, hospitals, government buildings, construction sites, and more. Because it’s a cloud platform, you can manage and monitor multiple sites from a single dashboard.

Does Teamgo support multiple locations?

Yes. Teamgo is designed for multi-site organisations. You can manage unlimited locations, customise workflows per site, and view real-time activity across your entire organisation from one central admin dashboard.

Can visitors sign in without an iPad or kiosk?

Yes. Visitors can sign in using QR codes, pre-registration links, mobile passes, or manual sign-in through the dashboard. iPad kiosks offer the best on-site experience, but they are not required.

What hardware do I need?

Most customers use an iPad, a secure stand, and an optional label printer for badge printing. Teamgo supports Apple iPads, Android tablets and Brother label printers, the QL-800 series. You can also use QR code posters for a kiosk-free setup.

Does Teamgo include pre-registration?

Yes. You can pre-register visitors, send email invites, attach calendar events, and include QR codes for fast check-in. This helps speed up lobby traffic and improves security screening.

Can Teamgo print visitor badges?

Yes. Teamgo supports instant visitor badge printing using compatible Brother printers. You can customise the badge layout with visitor type, photos, expiry time, and host details.

Does Teamgo support staff check-in?

Yes. Staff can check in using QR codes, mobile passes, or automatic check-in rules. You can also track time and attendance, evacuations, and on-site presence for compliance purposes.

Can contractors upload documents or permits?

Yes. Contractors can upload licences, permits, insurance documents, or compliance forms before arrival or during check-in. This helps meet WHS and legal requirements.

Does Teamgo include visitor screening or questionnaires?

Yes. You can create custom forms, surveys, declarations, and digital inductions. These can be required before arrival or at the kiosk, depending on your workflow.

Can Teamgo track who is on-site in real time?

Yes. The Teamgo dashboard shows live presence lists for visitors, staff, and contractors, allowing you to monitor who is currently on-site and generate activity reports.

Does Teamgo work for emergency evacuation management?

Yes. Teamgo includes Emergency Mode, allowing you to trigger evacuation alerts, run live roll calls, and ensure everyone is accounted for during a safety event.

Do visitors receive host notifications?

Yes. Teamgo sends instant notifications to hosts when their visitor arrives—via email, SMS, push notifications, or MS Teams/Slack depending on your settings.

Can I customise the sign-in kiosk?

Yes. You can add your logo, brand colours, background images, custom labels, and workflows. Every kiosk can have its own design and purpose (e.g., visitor check-in, delivery kiosk, staff check-in).

Does Teamgo support QR code check-in?

Yes. Teamgo offers unique QR codes for visitors, staff, deliveries, and pre-registered guests. QR codes can be printed, emailed, or displayed digitally.

Can Teamgo restrict off-site check-ins?

Yes. You can enforce geo-location restrictions and IP lockouts to ensure staff or contractors only check in when they are physically on-site.

Is Teamgo secure?

Yes. Teamgo follows strict enterprise security standards, with data encrypted at rest and in transit, multi-factor authentication (MFA), SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, audit logs, and role-based access control. Hosting is on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with options for AU, EU, US, and UK regions.

Does Teamgo comply with GDPR and privacy regulations?

Yes. Teamgo is built with privacy in mind, offering data residency, data retention controls, GDPR consent settings, and strong security controls. Customers maintain full ownership of their data.

Who owns the visitor data?

You do. Teamgo customers maintain full control and ownership of all data, including visitor logs, documents, and workflow responses.

Where is my data stored?

Teamgo hosts customer data securely in AWS cloud regions. By default, Australian customers are hosted in AWS Sydney, with options for EU, US, or UK-based hosting depending on regional requirements.

How long is data stored?

Data retention settings are fully customisable. You can automatically delete old visitor records based on your compliance rules or keep them longer for auditing needs.

Does Teamgo have an API?

Yes. Teamgo provides a REST API and webhooks for enterprise customers, enabling integration with access control, HR systems, compliance platforms, and automation tools.

Does Teamgo integrate with SSO providers?

Yes. Teamgo supports all major identity providers including:

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Okta
  • Google Workspace
  • OneLogin
  • SAML 2.0 providers
How is Teamgo priced?

Teamgo is subscription-based and priced per location. Monthly and annual plans are available, with annual subscriptions receiving a 20% discount. Not-for-profits receive an additional 10% discount.

Do you offer discounts for multi-site organisations?

Yes. Customers with multiple locations receive volume-based discounts on annual plans.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can start a free trial anytime at teamgo.co. If you need more time, our support team can extend your trial.

What support does Teamgo offer?

All plans include online help articles, email support, and live chat. Enterprise customers receive priority support and onboarding assistance.

Is Teamgo easy to set up?

Yes. Most customers can deploy a kiosk or QR check-in within minutes. No coding or IT resources are required unless you are enabling SSO or advanced integrations.

Does Teamgo work offline?

Kiosks require internet for live sync, but temporary offline sign-ins are cached and uploaded once the connection returns.

Can I use Teamgo without hardware?

Yes. Teamgo supports hardware-free check-in using QR codes, pre-registration links, mobile passes, and manual dashboard sign-in.

Can I export my visitor data?

Yes. You can export data in CSV, PDF, or access it via API. Reports include activity logs, compliance forms, visitor flows, and evacuation reports.

Does Teamgo support deliveries or couriers?

Yes. You can configure dedicated delivery workflows so couriers can check in, leave parcels, and notify staff.

Can Teamgo verify visitor IDs?

Yes. Visitors can upload ID documents, licences, permits, or photos as part of the check-in or pre-registration process.

Is Teamgo suitable for high-security sites?

Yes. Teamgo is trusted by government departments, schools, airports, hospitals, and enterprise environments requiring strong compliance, audit controls, and data privacy.
