Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
1. Current Use of AI
As of the date of this Agreement, Teamgo does not employ artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within its core visitor management platform.
However, Teamgo integrates third-party tools into its support services that may use AI, such as chatbots. For example, our customer support system includes features which may use artificial intelligence to assist with customer queries. These third-party tools operate under their own terms of service and privacy policies.
2. Future Implementation of AI
Teamgo is committed to continuous innovation and may integrate AI technologies into its services in the future to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and streamline operations.
Any implementation of AI by Teamgo will:

Comply with applicable Australian laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Follow the AI and Privacy guidance provided by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) (link).

Be guided by the principles outlined in Australia’s AI Ethics Framework developed by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources (link).
As Teamgo also operates and provides services to customers in the European Union, Canada, and the United States, our practices will further align with relevant international data protection laws, including:

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union,

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the United States,
-
Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Customers will be notified in advance of any significant changes involving AI technologies that may materially impact data usage, automated processing, or user rights.
3. Data Privacy and Security
In line with our Privacy Policy and relevant privacy laws, Teamgo will ensure that:

Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

Data collection and use are limited to what is necessary for the stated purpose.

Adequate safeguards are in place to protect data from misuse, unauthorised access, or disclosure.

Users will be informed about how AI may process their data and how to exercise their data rights.
4. User Control and Transparency
Should any AI systems involve significant automated decision-making, Teamgo will:

Provide users with clear information on how such systems operate,

Seek user consent where required,

Offer mechanisms for human review, appeal, or opt-out where applicable.
5. Ethical Use and Oversight
Teamgo is committed to the responsible and ethical use of AI. We will:

Regularly assess the fairness, accuracy, and accountability of AI systems,

Avoid bias or discriminatory outcomes in AI design and deployment,

Ensure ongoing monitoring and governance over any AI functionality used in our services.
